How To Choose The Best Auto Tint Shops

There are many Auto Tint Shops in most major cities in the United States to choose from, how do you know that you are choosing the best auto tint for your car? First off our cars are our most favorite posession, we like to make sure our cars are clean and shinny. There are many accessories we can buy for our autos like expensive rims and tires, cd players, satelite radios, mini tvs and so many other things, just look at auto accessory stores online, but very few accessories are as cool looking as having your cars windows tinted.

So now we know we want to get our cars windows tinted where is the best tint shop to go to? The first thing you want to do is to ask friends or family that have their windows tinted if they are happy and where they went. If you don't know anyone then the next best thing to find a good shop is to look in the yellow pages, most people don't even use the yellow pages any longer but successful companies still advertise in those books. The way you use the yellow pages is to go to the automotive window tinting section and look at who has the biggest ads because those are normally the biggest and most successfull companies and also the auto tint shops that do the most window tinting.

Once you find some shops as described above start calling and asking what kind of films they use, the best films are ceramic and those that don't use dyes in there films. The best brand in my opinion is the Huper Optik line of window film, this is a ceramic film and is used on some of the highest quality cars on the road. There are also other good quality films just ask the installer what is there best line and why. Once you find a the shops that use the best lines of window film start asking about costs, most of the costs are going to be in the same ball park for their best lines. Cheap auto tint is just that "CHEAP" some films will not last as long as others, peel, discolor, chip and crack.

Another important item when talking to the tint shop is to ask about the legal tint laws. Every state has diffent laws when it comes to percentage of light gettint through the films the lower the number the darker the film. Many states allow the back windows to be as dark as you want the two fronts have to be a certain percentage, also many states do not allow the windshield to be tinted, follow the tint laws and you will be happy in the long run a ticket for tinting that is too dark will cost you removal of the film and loss of the purchase so listen to your installer and obey the law.

So to sum up this information do your due diligence, find a good shop one who does a lot of auto window tint and also carries the best lines of film. Price should be your secondary concern because most Auto Tint Shops will charge less than a couple hundred bucks for a whole sports car using a good window tint and a larger shop will install only legal window tint because they have too much to lose.
